Assignment 2: Measure It! A step-by-step review of the analytical procedures including online exercises to ensure you master the measurement! 1-1½ hours |
Assignment 3: Calculate It Learning the logarithmic relationship between pH and hydrogen ion concentration, as well as some unusual pH calculations in virtual exercises. ¾-1 hour |
Assignment 4: Trouble Shoot It! Detail on what to do when testing goes awry! A good way to identify some money savers in the lab by learning avoidance and methods to fix the problem rather than having costly replacement. ¾-1 hour |
Assignment 5: Evaluate It Your opportunity to perform a laboratory audit using pH checklists (Note that 1¼ hours can be deducted from the course hours if you choose not to perform the self-audit) 1¼-2 hours |

Assignment 6: Read It Again, Plus Get Some Clarification of Issues! More information on the pH test, the lingo, and how to make the test a little more accurate and a little less costly. ¼ hour |
