Environmental Math in Two Parts
So, 10 hours of thigh slappin' knee jerkin' fun doesn't appeal to you?
Well, we've taken the basic environmental math course and divided it into two
separate courses. Take Part A for five and a half hours, and then come
back after you have recovered to take Part B if you so choose.
- Part A includes the basic math
calculations and conversions; significant figures and rounding;
and the effects of density on calculations.
- Part B includes a
review of Part A principles; concentrations, loadings, and averaging;
determining removal rates and treatment
efficiencies; using
proportions and ratios; and logarithmic calculations.
See the course synopsis and linked course outlines for Part
A and Part B for more detail.
