| Training requirements for WTP and WWTP operators | As of 2000: Regulation 51-9: Each applicant applying for renewal of water or wastewater certification must, in every two (2) years, provide evidence of having completed twelve (12) hours of relevant continuing education. |
| Coursework approval | As of 2000: Coursework approval from the State is not required. Continuing education can be obtained from schools, workshops, seminars, conferences and/or in-house training sessions. Continuing education must be information that is relevant to water and/or wastewater treatment facilities such as safety, operations and maintenance of equipment, math, engineering, environmental subjects, first aid, etc. |
