Several of our wastewater clarifications courses contain laboratory audits that must be performed for credit. Because many students do not have access to laboratories and because some students have concerns over self-auditing as a form of self-incrimination, we allow students the option to forego the laboratory audit portion of the course. Note that the laboratory audit assignment is the only assignment that students can omit and still receive credit.
Within the laboratory audit assignments, you will find a submittal button comparable to the button below that allows you the opportunity to elect NOT to perform the laboratory audit. When you are taking the course, you will be instructed to simply click on the election and proceed to the next assignment. (Note that the button below does not work).
As long as you complete all other portions of the course as required and pass the test, you will receive your certificate of completion. If you elect to forgo the laboratory audit, the course hours reflected on your certificate will reflect the lesser hours in accordance with the following:
