| Training requirements for WTP and WWTP operators | As of 2000: One day (defined as five hours) of continuing education is required every 3 years. Additionally, operators in grades 1-3 may substitute up to 3 months of experience for three days of approved training, and grade 4 operators may substitute up to 36 months of experience for 36 days (180 hours) of approved training. |
