Training for Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Operators and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Operators
Specification State Requirements
Training requirements for WTP and WWTP operators As of 2000:  Renewal will require that each certificate holder be credited with having obtained thirty (30) training credits in the three-year period preceding the date on which renewal application is due.
Coursework approval As of 2000:  Courses must be approved by the State.
Test completion As of 2000:  Not specified.
Certificate of course completion As of 2000:  Not specified, but useful.
Courses Submitted for Approval
Courses have been submitted for approval.  A state representative indicates that they will not review a course until such time as a student takes a course.  If you are a prospective student, please contact Dennis Quintana at Dennis_Quintana@nmenv.state.nm.us and request that he proceed with review of the course of your choice.
