| Coursework approval | As of 1999: All CECs shall be subject to review for approval to insure that the training is applicable to wastewater treatment facility operation and meets CEC criteria. Identification of approved training, appropriate CEC assignment, and verification of successful completion is the responsibility of the Department. |
| Course and test completion | As of 1999: Students must complete the course and must pass the test where 60% is considered passing. Check out student obligations when taking courses for credit for information on completing courses and passing tests. |
| Certificate of course completion | As of 1999: Certificate of completion must be provided by training organization to the operator and State and must include the operator's name, operator number, and how many CECs received. |
