| Training requirements for WTP and WWTP operators | As of 2000: There are 23 different certification classes with training requirements ranging from 0 to 45 units to meet certification renewal requirements every three years. For questions on your specific training requirements, contact the State. |
| Coursework approval | As of 2000: Courses must be approved by the Board. |
| Course and test completion | As of 2000: Passing final tests earns the student course units equal to 1.5 times the course hours. Additionally, please see FABL's policy for courses for credit. |
| Certificate of course completion | As of 2000: Not required, but useful in determining the number of course units achieved and in verifying course completion to the Board. |
