| Training for Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Operators | |
| Specification | State Requirements |
| Training requirements for WWTP operators | As of 2000: Every two years, operators must obtain at least the following number
of hours for continuing education training:

| Coursework approval | As of 2000: Courses must be approved through the State. |
| Test and course completion | As of 2000: Operators must complete course, and must pass test where 60% correct is considered passing. Check out student obligations when taking courses for credit for more information. |
| Certificate of course completion | As of 2000: Training providers must supply a certificate to the student and the State which specifies the name of the course, the name of the individual completing the course, and the date of the course's completion. A course evaluation form along with a completed and signed continuing education credit report form must be submitted to the State. To meet these specific obligations, please follow the additional requirements for the State of Indiana. |

| Certificate of course completion | Training providers notify the State within one week of the names of those students that have completed courses. It is our policy to provide this notification by forwarding a copy of our certificate of completion which specifies the student name, course name, and number of hours. |
