| Training requirements for WTP and WWTP operators | As of 2000: Every two years by the recertification deadline, the following
Continuing Education Points must be obtained:

| Coursework approval | As of 2000: Courses must be approved by the State Board of Examiners for
Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and
Laboratory Analysts. Course approvals only last for two
years.
Operators may petition the Board for credit for courses which have not received Board approval, but credit is granted at the Board's discretion. |
