| Course completion and test completion | Operators must complete course, and must pass test where 60% correct is considered passing. Check out student obligations when taking courses for credit for more information. |
| Certificate of course completion |
A copy of the certificate of completion must be forwarded to the State and the student and must include the number of hours awarded and either the operators certification number or their social security number. A signed proctor statement must also be provided to the State. |

| Courses were previously approved for use by Alabama operators in accordance with a 11/19/99 conversation, contingent upon the operator's having a supervisor or higher grade operator willing to act as the onsite proctor.
